Darrell Brooke
Darrell Brooke is the principal of The Brooke Law Group, PC, whose office is in the heart of Old Town Monrovia. He has been a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization since 1997. His office was previously headquartered in Pasadena, where he also served as a two-term President of the Old Pasadena Business Association, a non-profit organization whose primary purposes were to provide accessible parking and a top-notch shopping experience for its patrons.
Currently, Mr. Brooke is serving as President of the Monrovia Rotary Club, where he has organized a blood drive for the City of Hope, oversaw a shopping spree for disadvantaged children at Kohl’s Department Store, and established a large scholarship endowment fund for construction students attending the Monrovia Adult School.
He is presently Treasurer of the Pasadena Playhouse and he has been a board member of that organization for the past 9 years. He raised over $2 million during a critical fundraising shortage
7 years ago.
Previously, Mr. Brooke served as a President for 2 terms for the Pasadena Quarterbacks. He was instrumental during that term in creating the first ever, stand-alone Rose Bowl Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
His other accomplishments included serving as President of Levitt Pavilions LA – Pasadena, where 50 free concerts each year were provided every summer for 6 years, and included such artists as Sheila E., Los Lobos, Ozomatli, L.A. Opera, Judy Collins and Rita Coolidge.
Mr. Brooke currently serves as pro bono legal counsel for the Monrovia Historic Preservation Group, where he negotiated the contract with the U.S. Postal Service to secure the renovated
W.P.A. Bear Mural, at no cost, in the Community Room of the Monrovia Public Library in perpetuity.
